Making some of the best hip hop this side of New York is
Bobby Exodus, a local Nashville artist who has been killing it recently. Definitely cop his album on
his bandcamp. Really good stuff. Amazing lyrics on top of dope beats. If you're feeling lazy, check out the songs "My Magic Hoody" and "It's Always Nice to Meet Anybody". I would still suggest listening to the album as a whole though.
